Working out simply starts the conversation. It opens the door. The average athlete at DSC trains for 4 hours per week. That's 4 hours of output. The other 164 hours of the week are necessarily about input. Food, sleep, relationships, stress management. Without a basic handle on these inputs, our outputs cannot propel us toward improvement.
Conversations about recovery and nutrition can be had with any of the staff at DSC, but they will be heavily peppered with the phrase "it depends". To zoom in on the details, remove some of the ambiguity, and start making meaningful change in these lifestyle inputs, DSC members are encouraged to contact our staff Registered Dietician, Ani Manukian for a consultation.
